Although some male presence would be appreciated as well, mail presents sufficed today. This morning was a very exciting morning in the lives of the A-Team. Not only did we wake up a WHOLE hour earlier than normal, but we successfully assembled and mounted the roof-rack on my car, finally! After waiting over a month for all of the parts to come in, it was about time! My new BRIGHT white shoes also arrived in the mail, and holy white-ness, you need glasses to shield the glare....sorta like you needed glasses yesterday to shield your eyes from the glare of our white stomachs on the beach.
On our ride today, we found ourselves cursing the beautiful new roads we chose, the abundant sunshine and the lack of snow and ice, yet again. Sigh. Life here in SLO is rough, for sure. When we arrived home this evening, we were extremely excited to find that Amy had received a nice little surprise package in the mail. Ok, so it wasn't TOTALLY out of the blue, seeing as its her birthday on Monday, but still. Her dad, aka, ''The Best Gift Giver Ever'' had sent her her first 26th year birthday present. BIG THANKS from her, you lifted Amy's spirits and made her year...or, uh...life...Dave!!
