Well, as you may or may not have guessed, the lives of Amy & Alie have begun to fall into a routine out here. Eat, Sleep, and Ride Bikes. Hence, not always exciting stuff to blog about. Don't worry, we'll try to keep things exciting for our sakes and yours, and to that end we made a California "to-do" list yesterday. I'm not going to tell you what's on the to-do list of course, because that would ruin the surprise! I'll throw you one bone though, because we need help finding a place to fulfill this wish - we need to find a rodeo to attend. All the internet browsing we've done has only turned up rodeos occurring in August-October months :(
Today after our ride we plan to venture south to the Santa Barbara area to watch the Superbowl with some fellow New Englanders, cyclocrossers, BEXmo, and some of the Type 1 Diabetes team riders.
Speaking of bike riding, yesterday we toned down our mileage to an easy 21.5 mile ride... but, after day one's 38 mile ride, the 21.5 miles kicked my ass too. Alie is either going to have to be patient with my getting-back-into-shapeness, or else need to leave me behind pretty soon!
Miles Ridden 2008: 49.5

There's a joke about Type-1 Diabetes and the average Super Bowl watcher in this post somewhere, but I'm not man enough to find it.
